Owned and managed by the country’s oldest independent school, The King’s School Recreation Centre was designed as a ‘dual use’ Centre. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and all members are warmly welcomed whether they are 6 months or 70+, regardless of fitness level or ability. If a leisure complex is a new experience, the Centre staff are here to provide help and encouragement. With the usage of our app you can find all the things The King's School has to offer. Ratings and Reviews
Makes using the sports facilities off-putting
Not sure what the problem was that required an app as a solution but it’s an ineffective solution for a seemingly nonexistent problem.
Makes the gym much harder to access as you can’t just tap in through the turnstiles anymore. Nothing you can do on the app that you couldn’t on the website.
I don’t think anyone needs another app sitting there wasting storage on their phone but unfortunately this is an unavoidable download.
Unnecessary solution
This app appears to an extravagant solution to a problem that as a user of the centre I felt did not even exist. But is self-evidently creating new ones.
The interface is so packed with irrelevant and self-aggrandising photographic images as to be practically unnavigable on a phone.
One can only hope they did not pay the developers a lot of money for it.
A lesson in simplicity is needed.
