Embark on your own adventures in J.R.R. Tolkien’s iconic world with The Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth, a fully-cooperative board game for one to five players! During every game, heroes must band together on a perilous adventure to battle powerful foes, discover lost treasures, uncover forgotten lore, and customize their skills according to their role within their Fellowship.
This companion app dictates the setup of each encounter, tracks your party’s inventory and skills, and resolves combat while you brave the looming forests, quiet clearings, and ancient halls of Middle-earth.

GGGA! (Great game, great app)
This is an excellent game. The app involvement isn’t for everyone, but I love the way it works with the game. The game itself is very thematic and just got better with the latest app expansion. Overall I am very impressed and very happy.
There are some things that could be changed to make it better, then I would up my rating to 5 stars.
I’d like to be able to undo a move.
I’d like stand-alone missions outside of the main campaign.
Also only a minor thing but when adding damage in an attack I would prefer it if you could just enter the number straight in rather than tapping the screen 9 times to add 9 hits.

Great game
At first I was a bit dubious about a game that had app involvement, but have been totally convinced over the course of the play throughs. It really makes set up and enemy management a lot easier. The only down side is that purchases aren’t linked to a FF account so if you also want to run the app on a PC you have to repurchase digital content.

Really loving the app but would be nice to have an undo button for accidental taps.
