**JOON’S GOAL**
Help motivate your child with ADHD, ASD, ODD, General Anxiety, or Depression to focus and complete their daily tasks while learning basic responsibility and independence. **HOW IT WORKS**
Assign tasks as "Quests", then the video game does the rest.
1) Create a few tasks that your child struggles with the most (such as brushing their teeth, getting ready for school, etc.)
2) Your child chooses a virtual pet (called a Doter) to feed, wash, and grow. In order to take care of their pet and play the Joon video game, they must first complete the tasks you've assigned them.
3) Once completed, you will get a notification to review and approve/reject your child's completed tasks. If approved, your child will receive coins to use to care for their pet and unlock different parts of the video game!
4) As your child completes more and more tasks, they will develop habits and improve their daily routine - all because they want to play a video game!

**HOW TO GET STARTED**
1) Install Joon on your device, create your family, and select a few beginning tasks you’d like your child to work on.
2) Help your child set up their account so they can see the tasks that you’ve assigned them. You can have them download Joon on their own device or share you phone.
3) Once your child completes their tasks, you can review and approve them to make sure they were completed correctly.
4) Once approved, your children receive coins and experience points that let them feed, level up, buy things, and progress in the game with their virtual pet. As your child continues to progress in the game, they actually progress in real life too!
5) Keep adding quests (and we’ll recommend you new ones too) to help your children develop good habits! Your children cannot grow on their own. Make sure to stay involved in the process and keep assigning new quests as needed to allow your children to continue helping, learning, growing, and progressing in the game.

Fantastic APP
We have a child with a PDA profile and JOON has been the best tool by far that is working for us as a family. Mornings are much calmer as we don't have to make requests as she reaches for the app first thing to tick off her tasks, look after her doters and importantly for her, gain points to redeem rewards. The app is easy to use and having the ability to create your own quests to meet the specific needs of your child works well. The app is helping her to manage her deep desire to spend quickly and save as this can be a challenge for her as she seeks a dopamine hit with a purchase and then crashes as she realises she doesn't have enough for the 'bigger' purchase. The key is setting small, medium and larger rewards as well as setting quests of different achieve levels. Make them too hard and it seems impossible, small quick wins give that desire to keep going. We negotiate quests and rewards and try to keep it fresh and relevant for what she is doing either now or in the not too distant future. There are of course the basic skills that we keep permanently. It's definitely a great tool to add to your kit when supporting your neurodiverse superstar! (and helps keep you a bit more sane)

Order is restored!
We have two boys (10 and 6) who are both quite unpredictable and seemingly forgetful in the morning. They have to be told to get dressed, brush teeth, open curtain etc at least 5-10 times before they might consider actually doing it. They have iPad but we limit the amount of gaming so it’s a treat, not the norm. Having a game like Joon is therefore quite exciting because they can play and check on it almost anytime in comparison to normal gaming time.
They really enjoy completing their tasks and discussing them. They still need to be reminded about some tasks on occasion but the difference is staggering. They both enjoy it and there’s a health sense of competition too without getting silly or nasty. From parenting user pov it’s great too. Very easy to set up, use, amend, add, remove etc.
£70 is well worth the order that has been restored to the family to help start our day calmly and organised while we get ready for school and work together. I wish we had this a year ago!
Total game changer 🙌🏻
My children are now able to keep on task, are motivated and most importantly proud of themselves daily! They do more to help the household than ever before, and actually enjoy doing it!! I love the kindness & relationship builder tasks too. They’ve learnt responsibility, and being able to personalise rewards has been brilliant. School mornings are totally different these days which I am so so grateful for.
My boys are loving the game and we couldn’t imagine our routines without it now.
Whenever there has been a small glitch or feedback was requested, it was fixed and met with positive changes.
