A Spiel des Jahres Recommended game, Jaipur is one of the most most well-loved 2-player tabletop games. Jaipur is a fast-paced card game for two players with a blend of tactics, risk and luck. You are one of the most powerful traders in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. You and your opponent duel to demonstrate to the Maharajah that you can earn a greater profit than your competition. At the end of a round, one player receives the Maharajah's seal of excellence, and the first player to earn two seals of excellence wins the privilege of being invited to the Maharajah’s court!
Each turn, you can choose to take one card, exchange your cards for other goods, buy the camels needed to transport your wares, or sell at the market. The sooner you sell and the more you sell of a single good at once, the higher your profit.
If you take cards, you have to choose between taking all the camels, taking 1 card from the market or swapping 2 to 5 cards between the market and your cards. If you sell cards, you get to sell only one type of good per turn, and you get as many chips from that good as you sold cards. The chips’ values decrease as the game progresses, but you get increasingly high rewards for selling sets of 3, 4, or 5 cards of the same good at a time, so it’s all about waiting just the right amount of time to make your trade.
You can’t sell camels, but they are integral to trading and they’re also worth a little something at the end of the round, sometimes enough to secure the win so use them smartly!

Ratings and Reviews
Fix the crashes!
This is a really good game but too often when playing online you get a ‘your opponent has left the game’ message. Looking at the reviews this is not a new problem, and something that a big developer like Asmodee really should have sorted by now. Feels a bit like taking our money and not caring for the game. Disappointing.
It’s a shame because the game itself is great fun and beautifully realised in the app. If only this crashing could be sorted then it would be a five star game.
The till doesn’t chop yer hands off
Like an episode of open all hours, I’ve got everything from 100% unofficial designer t shirts to 300k gold Michael Kors earrings. A trading game set in India with you trying to make as much wonga as possible before cards or money runs out. The game itself is simple and can eat a bit of time (if thats what you are after.... certainly your camels will if you don’t). I’ve played this for 3 days so far and start to see a bit of a routine to this , that’s not to say I think it’s monotonous it’s still enjoyable. I hope they bring out a expansion for all those flipping camels I end up with at they end of the game.
Campaign Mode thoroughly enjoyable
Great little two player card game. Light but with enough tactical choices to make it interesting. The campaign mode really makes this a worthwhile purchase even if you own a physical copy as it adds plenty of variants and change ups. I found it thoroughly engrossing and was hooked until I taken control of the whole map!
