From customer feedback, to open Settings in It's About Time!, either swipe up on the clock, or long press, or tap the Settings icon. The single tap on the clock screen has been removed to help prevent accidental opening of Settings (for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS). It's About Time!

Does what you want and nothing else

I wanted a dim bedside clock with no adverts or flashing extras and this app delivers.

Good display. Instructions not particularly clear.

The display is excellent and the amended instructions are much clearer. Thank you.

Cool - thank you for clarifying. We are submitting an update today to hopefully fix the issue, setting the "always on" for the clock by default, and providing hopefully better instructions!

Which settings do you have enabled? There is a setting that is on by default which only keeps the display on when your device is plugged in, but you are able to turn this off if you want to always have the clock on when only using the battery. See “Always on only when charging”. Turn this off if you wish to use the app when not plugged in. “Keep app always on” should be set to on/enabled if you want the display to stay on.
