What is an IQ Test?
---------------------------------------------------------------
An IQ test is used to show how "intelligent" you are in relation to other people. But what is intelligence? This is not a defined term and so intelligence is just what an IQ test measures. Therefore, different IQ tests can not be compared, just the same test, and it simply tells you if you have solved the tasks better (over IQ 100) or worse (under IQ 100) than the average. So do not take the IQ that seriously, just test how you cut off compared to others! This app is also developed for brain training.

Brain booster and brain training
---------------------------------------------------------------
To improve your brain performance, we have added numerous tasks and exercises in the IQ Test app that will increase your performance. So if you are about to take an employment test or a psychological test, you can use it to train your brain and get a better result. The tasks are not only in the IQ test area, but also help to improve logical thinking, math and more.

Ratings and Reviews
Lots of translation mistakes
Hi Paul,
This is a really great concept and is a fun app to play. However as a native speaker of English and an English graduate, I felt I had to point out that there are a lot of translation errors in the game - one example: rot instead of red. Also the explanations are sometimes difficult to understand because of poor vocabulary choices and sometimes errors in grammar. I found the vocabulary game particularly difficult (as a graduate in English I should have sailed through this easily) simply because I couldn’t understand the relevance of some of the chosen words, possibly because they were antiquated English or not correctly translated.
I notice from reading the other reviews that a number of other English speaking players have had the same issue.
If you are interested, I would be willing to go through some of the explanations and offer clearer ones in better English. I don’t want to sound arrogant as your command of English is far superior to my command of German, but it might help you to sell your product more successfully.
Also your website doesn’t allow people to contact you direct due a broken link on your home page.
I wish you all the best with developing this app.
It’s difficult to understand what I’m supposed to do on some questions
Don’t get me wrong, I do think it’s an accurate test in regards to the processing of answers and speed of the answers etc however the way it’s presented to you, ie grammar errors and the overall explanations of some sections, makes it difficult to fully understand what I’m supposed to do. This made me waste time on some questions, occasionally guessing due to the fact I was running out of time.
My IQ is ~125, it’s been professionally tested and everything however due to the errors, as stated above, it told me my IQ was 104 which I know is not true.
Had I have understood what to do and had a clearer explanation on how to write certain answers, I’m confident I’d have gotten an extra 10 maybe 15 more questions correct than what I did.
Overall though, I’d say it’s accurate granted you know what you’re doing which is quite hard due to the mistakes and unclear explanations.
Ok concept, but translation isn’t great and logic doesn’t fit
I’ve noticed a few translational errors, but that’s besides the point. A logic based question was “all teachers are weird. some politicians are weird. Which conclusion is correct:
1) Some politicians are teacher
2) No politician is teacher
3) Some politicians are not teacher
4) no answer is logical correct”
1 is plausible, as some politicians who are weird can be teachers who are all weird.
2 is plausible as it might just be a coincidence that no politician is a teacher.
3 is plausible as the politicians who aren’t weird definitely aren’t teachers, and even then if a politician is weird it doesn’t mean he’s a teacher.
4 is therefore impossible because all three of the others are logically correct.
I understand this is more of a translational issue, so maybe it would be a better idea to instead of use words for the logic section, to us symbolism (e.g. A = B, C = A, B = ?). Or do some research into Bertrand Russell’s work like Principia Mathematica, which will do a good job of educating you on logical topics.
