Great start but needs more
This is a fantastic little app that helps keep all my games in one place. However there is so much more that could be done. Taking Goodreads as an start it'd be great to have completed games filtered by year and the ability to create goals. Improved ratings would be great, being able to tell others how long you spent on the game etc. I just know it could be so much better!
Unfriendly to Apple users
Recently both this and the main IGN app haven’t allowed myself to sign in with my Apple ID.
I have deleted and redownloaded both apps but I still run into the same problem (no such problem on the main website).
When trying to sign in using an Apple ID (that obviously is linked and works on the IGN website), it returns an error message and doesn’t allow you to log in. For the main IGN app this is a minor annoyance as it just prompts you to sign in continuously and doesn’t remember your preferences. But for this app it renders the majority of it unusable.
If I want to update any of my library or lists I now have to do it through the web browser (which isn’t great from a UI perspective compared to the app).
It’s annoying as I tweeted IGN directly about this and received no answer.
Before the lack of ability to sign in, I really liked the ingenuity of the app and the social element based on reviewing my friend’s and IGN’s contributors playlists.
I hope this gets sorted, I shouldn’t have to reset or make a new account because it is no longer Apple ID friendly. This would involve quite a bit of duplicated admin to collate data again on almost 600 games.
Great start but just needs some additions
I’m Loving this app, the TimeToBeat is a great addition, my only suggestion is a friends tab, I was trying to show my friend my games and vice versa and had to copy and paste a link so he could see, I would love for there just to be a tab to add him and see his games from the app.
Otherwise keep up the great work!
