I, The One - Fighting Games 12+

I don’t play many games regularly on my phone but I keep coming back to this. The combat is satisfying and the art style is quite nice. Sometimes the camera angles are a bit irritating, as is switching aim between enemies, but those things don’t really detract from the fact I think this game is awesome overall.

I can understand why some people find the first level/map difficult, it really is, but once you get past that one becomes really enjoyable. I think Office is my favourite map, fights seem to last longer and it’s more difficult to fall off. I also kept going back to the 1v1 map as it’s the easiest to win - if you farm wins on this you’ll unlock all the other maps quickly. Team vs Team is similar - very easy to farm wins.

Ads are a bit annoying but that’s what you get from a free app.

First off, this game is great. It’s very fun to play whilst travelling or offline. It’s a very basic game, don’t get me wrong, the game is great but could use some improvements to make it even more fun. I’ve got a few concepts to improve this game starting with:
• Online mode- this can improve the experience for other players including myself.
• A new currency- this currency could be gems. These can be used to buy exclusive skins and more features for the game.
•More events- events with exclusive skins or to earn more cash or gems (if they do come to the game)
• More maps- the maps are great but there is not a lot of options and a few more would make it a ton of more fun.
• More gloves- in I The One there is only four gloves which you can currently select, more of these which can increase your strength in game or cost more to keep people playing.
• A better tutorial- after you finish the tutorial, you are thrown straight into a match with bots. If this improves then it’ll help beginners understand the game a lot more.

These are my few concepts to help improve the game. Overall, this game is amazing. I definitely recommend to people as it packs lots of fun!

As per my previous review, there was an energy bar implemented preventing me from playing the game without watching adds to replenish it faster, something I had paid £3 to remove. I posted my review here, and the developers have responded to confirm this has now been removed.

I have booted up the game and can confirm this is the case. It’s great to see a dev team speedily responding to a complaint and also rectifying it as well. The game itself is a lot of fun, a great little time waster with some whacky fight mechanics that make you feel like you’re in the Matrix.

I have updated my review with a new score of 5/5. Thanks again to the devs for the quick response.
