Ratings and Reviews
Fun but shallow
The gameplay here is fun enough- beat up “hordes” of enemies by tapping each side of the screen. But unlocking all the characters is too easy (I did it within an hour and a half). And once you have unlocked all the characters, there is no reason to keep playing. Maybe have daily quests or challenges to complete. Just something so that the game remains interesting.
Inspired carbon copy
What is there to say other than the main game mechanic being stolen? If a watered-down, content stripped, soul-sucked One Finger Death Punch is what you’re looking for, then this is the game for you. The main problem this game has is that during their creative (or plagiarising) process, they failed to sustain replayability. In terms of how the game plays, the maximum distance that you can hit an enemy seems to be inconsistent - using markers in the background to find your range offers varying results. The graphics are done very well I will admit and the music is well done. The fact that the other modes can be unlocked without a paywall is something that I very much appreciate, so major props to the developer for that.
Genuine review
This game has great potential, first it has the whole game available to unlock through playing with optional purchase, and ads after the game for a continue, instead of a limited game and being hounded with full screen ads.
It is good for about 3 plays, then it gets a bit monotonous. Without any upgradable stats, the need to play on diminished quite quickly. My suggestion would be to add some upgradable stats, like speed of hit and radius, and also an upgradable skip so you could start at wave 50 for example, to avoid the slow creeping up from wave one again.
Another good addition would be a 1.5/2x speed upgrade, as the gameplay from wave one up is very slow especially if you just ended a go and go back to the start.
Overall, it has great potential to be more hand just a pick up and play for 5 minutes, and could go from here to being something you go back to regularly. Otherwise, you get bored of not having much to do besides start again to unlock an eventual skin difference.
