Description
Displays the current Hong Kong Observatory weather warnings - Find out quickly if there is a T8 and you can go home! Also, if there is a typhoon nearby, it displays the Tropical Cyclone Track and satellite images. Also displays the current weather, temperature, relative humidity and UV info.
Now a universal iPhone/iPad app. iPad app additionally shows Hong Kong Observatory radar and satellite images.
Sends PUSH NOTIFICATIONS of newly issued Hong Kong Observatory weather warnings.
SHARE: if there is a warning, you can tap on the warning icon and tweet/SMS/email.

Very good!!! But can be improved...
It is a very useful tool. However, there are delays between the notification and the actual issuance time of warnings. It does not tell you when any warnings are cancelled. If the app can do that two things, it will be better.
Ugly app and full page ads
This is probably the ugliest app on my phone but it does what it says. Paid! Edit 8 August 2022. Despite paying for the app, I’m getting full-page ads that last several seconds when the app is open. Really? And having installed the My Observatory app, that app is actually better. For a start, typhoon warnings actually appear on the weather widget. This isn’t true of this app, which is laughable considering it is called Hong Kong Warnings! Uninstalled.

Thanks for the feedback. You shouldn’t ever see an ad if you’ve paid - I’ll check for that bug.
Nice little thing
Simple app that's good to have. Because you can't stop the weather, bitnif you have an incling than all the better :-)
