Description

HiHi Connect 2 allows you to work seamlessly with your office’s HiHi phone system from your mobile. Enjoy features such as the availability checker, phone book and voicemail whilst also being able to make and receive both voice and video calls.

HiHi Connect 2 allows you to display your main business number even when calling from your mobile, creating a more professional appearance for your business' clients and partners.

It's also the perfect option for those who work remotely but regularly communicate with their office-based colleagues as HiHi Connect 2 will display their direct office line, rather than their mobile number.

You can also communicate with others users on HiHi Connect 2, without having to go via a HiHi desk phone.

If you are updating from the previous version HiHi Connect you will need to uninstall this first.

Recent Call List Frustration

The most frustrating thing about the app is that it collates your calls from the app and your personal calls from your mobile together in to your recent calls list. So I have reams of office calls to every department on my personal recent calls list - a feature I often use when driving as I have a small list of regular contacts I use which is easy to operate. Now my recent calls are flooded with useless numbers I don’t intend calling back. Can they not be separated or omitted from the device recent calls list?

Thank you for the feedback. We have taken the feedback about the recent calls showing on the native contact list and made a change to the app which will result in a setting where you can choose if you show the recent calls there or not. We have some customers that prefer to see it and others like yourself that would prefer not to. The feature is in test at the moment so will be available in a number of weeks time.

23/04/ this is something we have implement in 6.6.0 of the app Open settings and then under call settings you will see a toggle "save calls to native call history" this should be off by default.

App not great

I have to delete and reinstall the app most weeks. The connection drops out a lot and there are times where it will not connect at all. This afternoon I tried to call a client through the app. It rings then drops the call. Ended up calling via my phone and standard provider.
Seems a though when there is something upgraded or work carried out you have to reinstall the app. Not great. But when it does work it’s very good.

We are sorry you have experienced some issues with the app. Please do contact support so they can resolve the issue. Whilst occasionally it is good to force close apps on Apple we would not expect you to need a re install so please do get the support team to check your configuration.

Unable to hold and transfer correctly

When transferring a call to a colleague you are unable to place the caller on hold whilst searching for your contact which is highly unprofessional (especially when working for home with distracting back ground noises) and when you transfer the call you are unable to speak with that person first to make sure they are in a position to accept the call.
On the old app you could ‘call first’ then transfer.
With this new app the call disappears without this option which makes the app unusable for me as a receptionist!
Have had to re download the old app for now. Please can you let us know if these features will be added soon?

Update 07/07/21. Version 3.0.0 released early June fully supports the consult transfer option described in this feedback. We are making regular updates to this very new app and will continue to respond to feature ideas. We will also be inviting customers to our beta programme as where we will offer early access to new features.

Thank you for your feedback. This product is a first version which will eventually fully replace all valuable capabilities of the old application. We are adding more features in coming weeks. The current version supports direct transfer (cold) only. We are testing a consult (warm) transfer feature right now and are aiming to have this released in a few weeks. We hope this will solve the issue you highlight.
