What’s New

Version 7.7.22

ADDED
• Possibility to playtest a scenario directly from the map editor, and go back to the editor after playtesting it. 2 new buttons have been added to go back and forth.
• Brazilian localization.

CHANGED
• AI units in landing crafts with less than 60% HP will now go back to heal instead of try harder to land and get destroyed or simply not do anything due to too low damage.
• Updated Karelia geography on all Europe standalone scenarios.
• Removed all major VPs in Norway for German occupier on all Europe standalone scenarios.

FIXED
• AI planes purchase rate. Not buying enough.
• Sometimes during ambushes a unit could not deal any damage to the other because it had 0 action points.
• Plenty of units first introduction dates were wrong.
• Upgrading a unit into paratroopers would not properly set the movement points and autonomy.

Fabulous gem of a game!

Found this by chance and what a masterpiece it is. The depth and detail is incredible and obviously a labour of love. I’m not what you might call a veteran of “hex” type strategy games but have played a few over the years and I have to say that this one is pretty much perfect and sure to become a classic. My one request for a future update would be to create a “back” function for commands. Only because I sometimes forget to deselect a unit then touch somewhere else only to ruin whatever tactic I had in mind. Not a criticism just a request. Wish you all the best with this game Valentin you are doing a great job :)

A month on. I just have to say if I were only allowed one game on my iPad then this without doubt would be the one. Absolutely fantastic game! Don’t hesitate to grab it NOW!

Developer Response ,

Thank you very much for your comment! Truly appreciate it!

About that request of yours, I am happy to announce that… it already is in the game :D
Unless you are playing with Tablet UI, there is an unselect button on the top left in the panel that moves left and right

The unselect unit button looks like a dashed square with a bar in the middle

Hope that helps

Cheers

Brilliant game, one suggestion

This is a brilliant strategic game, quite similar to Panzer Corps and to some extent Commander: The Great War (which I wish we could see it again…)
I only have two little suggestions for the developers. The first one’s something that is easily feasible but will make a huge difference: Please use BETTER maps. You can easily use some more realistic maps (regardless of topography).
Second suggestion: It would be GREAT if we can have an option to use actual soldiers/vehicles on the map as well. TBH everyone would love such a feature and nobody can complain about it!

Anyway, thank you and well done for doing such a good job. I hope developers will be informed about these suggestions. Cheers!

Amazing game

I’ve been looking for a game like this for what feels like forever and I accidentally stumbled upon this gem whilst doing the regular search of hex and counter war games.
What an absolutely great game this is. There is so much depth here and to be able to play it on my phone aswell, not just iPad, I’ve got to say hats off to the developers. After seeing what has been achieved here I don’t see why any big name company couldn’t convert their hex and counter games to be playable on iPhone also.
Again big credit to the developers. I hope this gets the recognition it deserves. I bet there’s so many people out there who would love this but don’t know it exists.
