Help Close By matches your requests for essential supplies with our local network of approved groups and vetted volunteers. Our network will support you with a range of activities, including delivering shopping, food parcels, baby items and prescriptions, as well as other services specific to your area.
Prefer to use your phone in another language? An increasing range of languages are supported.
Support workers can also use Help Close By to request support for someone else. For further peace of mind, personal details will be safeguarded.
Help Close By includes several safety features to protect you. It only shares personal details on a need-to-know basis and these are deleted from the volunteer's phone once you’ve got what you need. It also has a feedback system to log any issues.
*Help Close By is rolling out regionally and may not be available in your location yet. This is because we check all service providers individually before accepting them onto our platform.
