Description

Update Hell Let Loose Maps now! Fixed orientation bug for a smoother experience on all devices.

Hell Let Loose Maps provides a way for Hell Let Loose players to see all the maps from the game in one place, as well as create their own map variations that can be saved and exported!

This is a personal learning project that I made for the Hell Let Loose Community and is not affiliated with Hell Let Loose, Team 17, or Black Matter Studio.

Not bad but…

I really like that someone has made an app which shows you the maps of the game however, the app could do with a way to add and save intel.

For example you could do with a way to add a ping which can be left on the map for however long you need, maybe you saw an enemy outpost and marked it in the game map but the ping disappeared before you could return to it, that feature could be added here.

Otherwise I like the app and will try and use it, good work! 👍🏻

That is in the works, it’s going to take a while to get it to that point but it will eventually be in the app!

Slightly Inaccurate

Hi Dev,

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to develop the app. I’ve noticed some of the strong points aren’t accurate to where they actually lie.

Secondly, if you could add the default garrisons that would be an amazing aid to those new to the game and want to utilise recon as they should be.

Cheers

The Strongpoints come directly from Hell Let Loose Developers.

I’ll add the default garrisons when I have time but I will put no rush on it for a three star review for a free app.

Spoiled by lack of basic features

Great idea, unfortunately HLL don’t do one which could sync with the game like other games have utilised.

Unfortunately this app lacks the basic ability to transition from portrait to landscape… which is how anyone views an actual map lol

Means if you use an iPad stand, you can’t keep the power cable in because it needs to be in portrait.

Developer Response ,

I’m a self taught developer and I don’t know how to provide all the features that you are demanding. I released a free app to the community that I am working on improving. You should just delete the app, I’d prefer you didn’t use it.

There is no easy way to let you double tap to zoom in on a section of the map and have the device keep the same position when rotating the device into landscape mode. I figured the user would not be lazy and just could unplug the device, make the map, export it, and then you can use the image in any orientation you want.
