Long time fan
I used to use the original HEAVYPAINT when it first came out for plein air thanks to its simplicity but it was missing some QOL features. Diving into this new version I’m super excited to see all the improvements that have been added while still keeping the experience distilled. Loving it on iPhone and iPad with the movable UI
Mixed feelings
I really want to love this app, playing around with it since it was web based if I remember correctly - I love the look of what you can achieve but every time I try and do something it’s more like a fight with the ui than using a tool for a scope / also idk if that’s me but feels like stuff like merging layers and hue sat controls are completely missing
