Exactly what an app should be
As you might imagine there is not a great demand for instruction in the Hawaiian language and, therefore, no incentive for major publishers to give us suitable language courses. Enter the Hawaiian Words app.
This is not a fully-fledged language system and we couldn't expect such at this price. But it does offer a basic vocabulary, complete with a rather mechanical audio pronunciation, and translation to and from English.
Occasionally an update to the app introduces a bug which can affect operation but these are very quickly fixed. When I've reported a bug the fix has already been submitted by the time I've found the fault.
Overall it's a fun app that gives insight into a language most of us will only ever encounter on Hawaii Five-O.

I've been lucky enough to visit Hawaii twice , I'm in love . This app helps you to know their language and how to pronounce the words.
I would love to be able to live there all the time .

Love this app, a new word each day is a great idea, just wish I could speed up the play back or if the word could be said once slowly and then at normal speed. Still a lovely app
