Cool but could have more options
Yh the app works well with the bulb and it has fun and cool options and functions. For connecting ur bulb to Siri, Alexa, Google home assistant I believe u have to buy or already own a smart bridge which isn’t clear with the initial advertisement of the bulb so there’s that :/ I feel like there’s so much opportunity for more options and functions, as well as speed and brightness tho I really hope there are more when there’s an update.
Works a Treat
I wired a single light to a flex with a plug on and was suitably impressed, I eventually installed 8 lights and powered each one in turn during install so when I added them I could number them in the app and would know which one was which. I connected the smart bridge without any issues and Alexa can control them, I have created scenes which include all the lights and also just certain ones. The only thing I can’t forgive out... you can set a single unit/device to use the ‘mic’ or ‘music’ option and it will change colour and flash to the surrounding noise of to music played from your device, however I can’t figure out how to do this for a group or a scene, I would like to be able to create a scene that uses the ‘mic’ or ‘music’ option so I can simply select it from the app.
Please make this an option in the next software release/update.
Can not connect to Alexa
Works well being controlled from my phone but I cannot get it to connect to my Alexa dot. Do I need to buy a smart bridge? If so this needs to be advertised when selling the product
