Description
Gubbins is a friendly puzzle game where players place tiles to construct words, with the help and hindrance of wildcard modifiers called Gubbins.
Minimalist typography alongside kooky cartoons serve as a canvas for moreish wordplay. Dig through the draw pile and make words on the board with hilarious friends wreaking havoc.

A funky ’70s aesthetic, wild cards that thwart easy wins – we’ve rarely seen a word game with so much style.
A gem in an otherwise ad-hungry App Store!
What a breath of fresh air this little game is. It reminds me of games like Teeny Tiny Town or Mini Metro with thoughtful yet effective simplicity.
My only feedback is please make videos that play when you click on each of your gubbins collection as some of the explanations don’t make much sense on their own. A visual example of each power up being used to its full potential in the collection screen would make this game literally perfect.
Just keep adding updates and content and I’m on board for life! 👍
Can confirm, is a word game
Lets you play once a day for free and if you take your time, that’s a decent stint. Only costs £6 to make that play unlimited and a chunk of that money goes to charity.
It’s basically scrabble but with power ups and you lose tiles after you play them. My only wish so far is that the fin tile that you end with could be used to complete words, like you have to actually submit the word fin (or anything you made with it) to finish.
Not seen any ads or annoying pushes to upgrade.
