We started Goodpods for those moments when you're staring at your phone -- about to hop in the car or go for a run -- wondering what podcast to listen to next, wishing that someone would magically appear with a good true crime, comedy, news, sports or audio drama podcast recommendation. In other words… podcast paralysis!
And who better to get podcast recommendations from than friends who know you best? This already exists with books. And movies. And music. We just wanted it for podcasts too!

Goodpods, more like “Greatpods”…
I’m an indie podcaster (@InfinitePrattle go check it out) and Goodpods is a great app and way for you to listen to Podcasts and discover new ones. As a podcaster it’s a great platform to grow my audience and Goodpods keep me in the loop as to my status and my podcasts place in their charts (#1 in the indie commute category, just saying! 🤘) …
I have engaged with the Goodpods team several times on socials and they have been great with sharing my podcast recommendations and also responding to queries.
This is what apps should be, easy to use, look nice, and be made for the people who have an interest in the thing the app was made for…podcasts.

Just Go Watch
We have been doing our movie review pod (Just Go Watch…check it out!) for about three years, and we found Goodpods about two years ago. It’s made a massive difference to the amount of people we can reach and our audience has grown because of it. Definitely worth checking out if you want to find more podcasts but also if you are content creator looking to liaise with other creators.
Podcasting Heaven in One Place
Listening to podcasts should be easy. There’s so many hosting platforms, that means too many apps and often being unable to find what you’re looking for. By then we’re bored and move on.
Not with Goodpods!! Every show, every genre or topic easily searchable, shareable and listenable. Hooray for Goodpods 🥳
