GhostTube VOX 12+

I’ve had this app for a few months, sometimes it just shoots out random words that I don’t make sense of.. But last night I basically had a full on conversation with my grandfather and 2 others who were telling him to leave and that he shouldn’t have been there. I’d ask questions and they’d ask questions and each time for 3 hours I’d get a very quick and intelligent response… … Something said “can you see me” I said “no where are you” it said “I’m in the corner” I said “which corner” it then said “the one on your right”. Similar conversation happened throughout the 3 hours.

Developers said to a negative reviewer: Unlike other apps, VOX doesnt come with any pre-recorded sounds. Inspired by a traditional spirit box, it sources sounds from online radio broadcasts when specific magnetic signatures are detected, so hearing some radio sounds is expected. Not all sounds are necesserily paranormal. Please let us know how we can earn 5 stars.

Thinking this was the original brain child of Amy’s Crypt I tried it, even paid but I find myself laughing that in a few hours over two days as I did some reading etc the exact SAME VOICES AND PARTIAL WORDS and EXPRESSIONS came out almost constantly. I’m sorry it’s IS pre-recorded, I’m very sorry to say this. The same voice saying “Sponsored” came in at 17 times then I stopped counting . That’s ONE example. This is nothing but recorded voices on a very obvious loop. Even idiot basics like giving my name was a complete laugh.

What SHOULD I expect from an app suitable for a12 year old? I know I definitely expected
MORE from “paranormal investigators”. I am SORRY to be so blunt but this is not even a poor man’s simulation of a ghost box or whatever it’s meant to be. It’s just sad because I REALLY expected something better. Do NOT waste time or money on this mix of repetitive “partial words stuck on repeat “ app. Shame Amy’s Crypt didn’t see this coming as a failure. I truly am very SORRY to be so direct.

This is false. VOX doesn't come with any pre-recorded sounds. Inspired by a traditional spirit box it sources sounds in realtime from radio streams when specific environmental signatures are detected, so hearing radio sounds is normal and repeating sounds are possible, but rare - perhaps you're getting a repetitive clip of audio or advertisement being broadcast on one of the streams used? Just re subscribed for another 12 months of this amazing app. I mainly use this, along with the SLS app, my RemPod and K2 EMF detector for my investigations; of various sites, including my own home, from where I receive a fair amount of activity.
