Fruitless and ultimately pointless

Such a shame - to go to all that expense and effort creating and publicising such a good looking product only to allow it to be ruined by unrealistic gameplay, cheating bot accounts and overactive algorithms. Waste of time, in terms of winning but most dissatisfying is the clear double standards of KYC offered by GG over their multiple platform markets. Use of VPNs and RTA from the “usual suspects” obviously endemic, bot rings on Rush dominate, playing for 20+hrs a day. Hardly any effective attempt to prevent these accounts from re regging new accounts, harvesting welcome bonus and benefitting from the obvious golden honeymoon +ev period upon opening of a new account. Distinct lack of will or ability to stay on top of these suspect users, whilst banning legit users. Support response time has now become an industry joke, as has the remarkable ability of said suspect accounts to outdraw your own hand, literally against all the odds, in 95% of situations with single digits odds. If you are honest player, playing for fun I really wouldn’t bother. No deposit bonuses, or Freeroll invites, or ticket awards. Never hit a BBJ in 3 years, in which time rake increases way above market comparables. I suggest GG could start by vetting all accounts that play continuously for 12+ hrs a day - send them an email asking them to respond, if they don’t, Insta ban, simple!

Having played on all the other major sites and mobile apps I think I have found a new home.

The gameplay is really sick and I really like the style and layout of the tables and games. There a huge number of players and good action on the tables whether cash games tourney or sit and gold - my favourite

Also the fact they don’t allow the HUD software means you are getting a much fairer game.

They have their own brilliant and well thought out in game tracking of your stats to compensate.

Some of these comments are plain unfair. The 200% bonus deposit is released as you play and I had no problems with payout.

Yes, they need a passport and address proof, every site needs to verify you. If they don’t do that initially they will ask when you withdraw, it’s good they are upfront.

I have given this 5 stars and would definitely recommend it and have done to others.

You can tell a lot of research has gone into how other apps and sites play. And they have tried to tweak that playing experience and make its as fun and enjoyable as possible.

As an experienced player on other platforms this is a breath of fresh air for me and I suggest trying it out to see!

A Few Months In

My first review of this app and site was generally positive. OK, it’s not really poker as we know it; it’s more arcade game with a poker backdrop, but I didn’t doubt its integrity. However I’ve changed my opinion.
At first I thought the cause of the one star “It’s a scam” reviews was simply people not understanding that it’s a site full of poor players going to the river in high variance/ minimal skill games, with the inevitable uptick in outdraws and bad beats. While I still think that’s the case, some of the action across the board, in cash and in their gimmicky tournaments, are so far removed from the “norm” I’m no longer convinced that I’m looking at a site where everything is above board. I’m NOT a conspiracy theorist. In all the years I’ve played poker the only site I’ve ever felt uncomfortable with was PKR because it looked unsustainable. It was.
GGPoker is a different thing altogether. If you gave me a grand and said I had to punt on the site being fair or ropey, it’s going on the latter. Whether there’s collusion or staff involvement on the tables creating additional rake, I’m not sure, but the games just don’t feel right. That sounds wishy-washy but you know - the 4th level of learning is unconscious competence. I’m at the stage with poker that if it doesn’t feel right, it very well may not be.
