good game! some feedback- favouriting system
I’m really enjoying this game. it’s difficult, fun, and has great design. you have to grind hard to level up and get better.
However, I would love to be able to “favourite” certain cards, and filter to my favourites. It gets really difficult to sort everything you have. A favouriting system would allow you to quickly find teammates, and mark ones you would like to upgrade in the future- or even just for specific moves you want on a team.
Slow monetisation creep evident
Update 5.0 = :(
Has become tedious and grindy and more money-grabbing since the introduction of medals and deeds. Explore mode is zero fun, and the rewards from any match are hardly worth the effort. Souls are a massive requirement for upgrading troops, but so heavily capped now it is such a drag. All my favourite modes are relegated to weekend events, in favour of awful lore events every week that scale up in difficulty too quickly to progress unless you spend gems to buy extra sigils to use several sigils per battle to artificially boost your stats. Definitely skewed towards the paying player. Sure, it’s still possible to play the game without spending real money, but progress is just snail pace. And the store prices are stupidly high for very little benefit, especially with the campaign paid tier. I don’t have a bottomless pit of money to throw away on games. If I’m spending money on a game, I want a fully loaded, full content game up front, not the next temporary buffs every few weeks. Shame, because I used to love this game; now it’s a chore, and a bad habit to be broken.
Complete disadvantage
I enjoyed this game up until it started to become very unfair. Stuck on this level for days now with umpteenth attempts. The issue is that the board works in a way where the skulls generate only for the AI, I only match colours that aren’t relevant to power up my allies and I can’t even target enemies who can literally take me out in one hit. I’ve tried different teams, I’ve upgraded allies, and still can’t beat it. Almost did, but then the board gave the AI skulls and I was taken out yet again. I’m guessing it wants you to spend money for better upgrades and to get more souls and whatever else you have to do to have some fairness in the game, but you can forget about that. I’m not spending my money on trash that screws me over.
Please don’t bother to respond to this either. Game has been deleted so I’m completely done with it.
