What’s New
Version 3.7
- Add images and receipts to entries! They’re saved to your iCloud Drive (or iPhone if you don’t use iCloud)
- Beta: Gem pulls the total price from your receipts. You can turn it off in Settings > Recording
- Send receipts to Gem with new “Save to Gem” action in share sheet
- Set account balance! Open any account in Tracking > Tap “Set balance”
- View your monthly balance. Open any balance in Tracking > Tap “Edit” > Choose period
- You asked for it: New “Add expense” shortcut allowing you to choose category
- All shortcuts now have a “Notes” property so you can add more details to entries
- When calculating your expenses or budgets, Gem includes your income so your total spent is decreased. You can turn it off in Settings > Tracking > Include income
Improvements & bug fixes
- Adds timestamp to export file name, so it’s easier to tell between them
- Fixes amounts overflowing
- Fixes "Recently paid" in category settings showing earliest paid instead :)
- Fixes columns in export file being messed up
- Fixes transfer records appearing as "unknown" when viewing them in the account they were transferred to
- Fixes savings calculation not considering your transfers
- Fixes visual glitches when viewing uncategorized expenses
- Radically improved setup experience (ideally you don’t see it :))
