Description
Forkit allows you to split your restaurant & bar bills much quicker than manually crunching the numbers in your head.
The steps are simple!
- Take a picture of the receipt. We automatically detect each item and its price as well as the tip and tax if applicable
- Choose the participants in your party from your contacts
- Assign each item to whomever bought it or split an item amongst multiple participants
- Manually change the tax and tip if necessary
- Observe the summary of the items and send Venmo requests to participants
- Text a summary to your party for their records with a message crafted by us

Confusing and buggy
Keeps saying that all pens need to be allocated before it can move on. They were all allocated.
Can’t allocate to someone who isn’t in your contacts.
Too much like hard work.

Hello, thank you for the feedback. We’ll look into the allocation bug and will explore the option of non-contacts to be added as well.
Edit: Version 2.11 of the app now allows you to add people that aren’t in your contacts on the “Assign Items” screen. Changes were additionally made to prevent that allocation issue you mentioned as well. Do let us know if you have any other questions/concerns!
