Find a Grave 4+

A great idea for reference. You can gain so much information from a headstone. I like to upload photos of graves and can take a few of the same grave if necessary. However, it would be good if you could select more than one photo at a time to upload for the same grave as it’s tedious only having to select one, upload and then add another and having to scroll through you’re photos to select the next.

I love this app, but there’s two main problems from making it an even better app. 1. Not everyone is from the U.S.A. It’s taking me ages to get used to putting in dates American style. The app should allow for where in the world you are from, so it will make it easier to transcribe headstones. I’ve nearly made a few mistakes myself, but I triple check myself so if I’m not sure if it’s the day, month or the opposite, especially with low numbers in the days or months. It’s an easy mistake to make. 2. I don’t understand why I have to go onto a browser to check to see who has recently passed away. It really should be in this app, other than that, it’s a great app and easy to use.

Not just the app but there has to be a better way to add cemeteries. I’m currently on holiday in Brittany and Normandy, France. It’s very frustrating trying to find cemeteries where you know they exist because you are standing in it. Log on to website to find that the cemetery exists but it hasn’t been located because the coordinates have never been entered.
Why are you allowing them to be recognised with no location? It then means that any memorials locations can’t be added because the cemetery doesn’t have one! Grrrr!
It’s such a long winded way to request the location to be added through the forum with no way of knowing without constant checking if it’s been approved.
Please do something!
