Terrible

This is a terrible app, not intuitive at all, you have to create a recipe before you can add a list of ingredients, its just awful.....

Hello Chef! Thanks for your thoughts. Actually, you can create a new ingredient any time! You can do it in the Ingredients tab. You can also do it from inside a Recipe or a Menu, or in other tabs like Inventory and Vendors.

We also have a bulk import option for adding big lists of Ingredients and prices.

First impressions lot of work

As a professional caterer for the past 30 years
My first impressions of this app is that there’s a lot of work to be done before you can even start using it.
Have you had the time to input all the ingredients all the nutritional values all the groups? Et cetera, yeah basically starting with an empty app I’m sure you can really bespoke it to your requirements.
These days there are databases of food groups food ingredients is which would make this app a lot quicker and easier to use.
Can’t complain too much as it’s currently free not sure what the business model is behind this but I get the feeling The users are just populating. What should be there in the first place for the developers?
I could be wrong though.

A really useful tool, so easy to use. Makes light work of costing, just give yourself time to complete the input of ingredients
