Ratings and Reviews
Great app but missing one key feature
Surprisingly, this is a solid email app. In fact, it’s my favourite email client on iOS (and I’ve tried probably 10 different clients out).
One big feature is missing though, and that’s offline mode! How can that be? This app does everything so well, but it doesn’t have such an important feature.
Hopefully it’s added in the future so I can give this a 5 star rating.
Fastmail is Awesome
I have been using fastmail for years and it just works really well with no security problems. I have the light option and feel its well worth paying for a quality email service. I really like the fact that on the iPad the app allows you to use the same interface as the web portal. Under Settings/device settings select - Use desktop interface. Most apps treat the iPad like a phone but its really a mini desktop and I find this option much better. You can see your folders and can disable the preview pane. Support responded promptly to a recent enquiry and helped me get the app set up the way I like it on my new device.
Superb
Not only is Fastmail a professional, quality product but this app offers everything and more you could need on a mobile email app. The app synchronises INSTANTLY with your online mailbox & you can request notifications when new email lands in any of your mailbox folders. The option to only receive notifications from your personally designated VIP contacts is also great! You can also access your file storage quota via this app. Supreme as you’d expect from anything baring Fastmail’s name.
