Half and half

Sometimes the adapter and app work perfectly and it does what i need it to do, however, quite often it just says that it is unable to screen mirror and I don’t know why it sometimes does this. Is there a way to fix this?

1.Please switch dongle mode to Plug&Play mode by press the hole on it, you can also reset by long press the hole 5 seconds. 2.Please reboot you phone. 3.Old version firmware would not be compatible with latest iOS, please refer to this video to do firmware upgrade: https://youtu.be/-7PAQ1XlR68

Someone help me out

I have a wired dongle that can also do wireless Through EZCast but the app keeps telling me to turn on my personal hotspot on my iPhone
My iPhone is running iPhoneOS 15.1

I don’t think it’s software related but I have no idea what I am doing wrong. Could someone from the EZCast team please give me some information on how I can get round it without other issues as currently I have stated only one issue with it but am unsure whether it is my dongle or the app because when I scan the QR it also throws the same message saying my personal hotspot is not on but it is and that’s a real problem that’s hindering my ability to connect to it wirelessly.

Also if it didn’t throw that message it’s still a useful app for other dongles used for wireless projection

All I am saying in short is that I need some assistance from someone from your team to talk me through the process of getting my device to communicate with your app so it will work with AirPlay and other projection features from my iPhone and iPad

It just works

Having never done this before when I just simply followed the instructions it just works. But you do need to read them closely, because you could miss a step or two.
Only one observation that could draw back. Once connected to the system unless you have a non WiFi means to access the web you cannot mirror at the same time as web browsing. Watching films or opening files to view is no problem but don’t expect your device to collect info from another source (unless you use 4g or similar)
