The app works, just need a few details ironed out:
-the tracker for the arriving cab is a bit behind (the timer itself isn’t)
-payment via card has been smooth
-appreciate the added text alerts to indicate arrival
-easy interface when booking
Iron out a few issues and it should be great
Whilst the app is effective enough to get me from A to B, there are some issues which if addressed would increase my confidence in it.
- the tracking option is slow to update and gives a delayed or unclear indication of where your driver is
- even though I’m using the app, after my booking is complete, I always receive a text suggesting me that I download it, it might be more useful to the cab firm to ask for my feedback on the trip.
- Some addresses don’t load in the location fields. The app doesn’t allow you to manually enter an address. Only a postcode - you have to use the notes to give full details to the driver.
I’m all for these kinds of apps as they help to make life easier. If a few of the issues could be ironed out this will be all the more effective option in an area where Uber has little to no presence.
Reliable service, app updates needed
The app is great in terms of reliability and being able to get a taxi. The prices are reasonable and better than those of other well known apps.
The app could do with a few updates to make it perfect though:
• develop it to work with apples latest features like widgets and up to date info on tracking cars,
• more options to contact the driver and chat with them incase you’re a bit late or need to update them about having bags or having a disability and needing more time to get to them.
• more car info and driver info.
• more accurate car tracking
