Difficult to rate
I can only read the description so cannot tell what the original design brief was but let's imagine it was something like this:
Intuitive GUI (fail)
Easily able to create daily routines (fail)
Simple to configure (mostly fail)
This is probably the worst designed and implemented automation alps I have used, apart from the basics getting it to work, took several hours, understanding the military-level configurations, even more frustration, actually getting it to do something useful, dead loss.
I wanted to set two timers, landing light and water heater. After hours ( lost count how many) I seem to have made it work, but don't understand how, tried to replicate for the heater, could not.
It does not run in the background, each time I open it it has to star and then connect wasting time.
Regardless of having my company IT head do all possible on my home and office routers I cannot connect remotely.
Btw I am a highly experienced engineer in high technology products all of which have some form of GUI to manage them and for sure our are a breeze compared to this.
