Description
Assess the condition of your horse or pony with the Equine Body Condition Scoring app.
It is recommended you BCS your horse or pony every two weeks to ensure you notice even slight changes in their condition and possible health risks.
Make more objective assessments of horses' and ponies' body conditions for routine management of their health using Equine Body Condition Scoring.
The Equine Body Condition Scoring app allows you to assess the fat coverage and weight across different body parts of your horse or pony and gives scores that provide you with an overall body condition score. You can then graph and share the condition records.
What’s New
Version 3.0.1
Complete rewrite with a new, modernised UI, graphing and a single-page scoring tool.
You can record weight (estimated or measured by weighbridge) and exercise duration alongside existing body scoring and photo capture.
Ratings and Reviews
Equi-BCS App feedback
Whilst a great idea it is a very basic app with no support features or contacts to advise if help required.
There appears to be no way to update the horses’ age each year, the photo will upload but then doesn’t stay put and you can’t correct typed mistakes eg wrong weight entered and mistake seen immediately.
Not updated since 2022. Sad as this app has potential.
