Not good
This app is so behind where tech should be in this day and age. For me it crashes when trying to book. Isn’t easy to navigate and if a desk booking isn’t available you have to go right back to the start again to find another. This could be much better with more thought.
Sack whoever procured this system for your employer
Honestly, this must either be the cheapest product on the market or whoever procured this system for your employer is taking back hand deals. Considering the concept is so simple, I have no idea how “Comfy” have made such a bad job of this at every single turn.
Want to book a desk for 8 hours? Well the filter will still show you desks that only have 30 mins availability in that window. Realise you can’t book the desk? Ooops! Back to the very beginning you go! Want to see who in your team is booked where, well if the weather forecast is rain and the temperature begins with a 1 then we’ll think about giving you that info.
If *you* are your organisation’s procurement person and you’re looking into this system… for the love of god don’t do it! Not unless you want a legitimate reason for office attendance to be through the floor (in which case, crack on!).
Useful app, could be improved
My office introduced this app in January. It works fine for booking and cancelling, but I would love to see the following improvements:
🔔Notifications:
- to tell me which number desk I’ve booked (morning of the booking) [this is top of the wishlist 🙏🏻]
- or to remind me to cancel it if I’ve not gone in (morning of the booking)
- to remind myself to book a desk (at a set time / X days in advance)
- to tell me when a ‘followed’ coworker booked a seat (if that person allows the tracking)
- to tell me when a ‘followed’ seat booking gets cancelled by someone else so I can book that seat instead
📱Other:
- Open straight to the desk map, or straight to my desk bookings. I don’t care about the rest. [2nd on the wish list! 🙏🏻]
- show me a co-worker’s full name instead of just their initials. I don’t know everyone in the office and there are a lot of people
If these changes could be implemented it would greatly improve the user experience! Thanks.
