Description
Engage Consult allows patients to communicate securely and safely online with their practice about non-emergency medical conditions, admin questions or online video consultations. It also offers 24/7 access to symptom-specific self-help information and easy access to other local NHS and self-care services.
Use the Engage Consult app to:
- Submit a non-emergency medical request to your practice
- Ask an admin question to your practice
- Upload health data
- Access symptom-specific self-help information
Please note your practice needs to be signed up for Engage Consult for you to be able to contact them this way.
After you download the Engage Consult app:
- Enable push notifications to allow your practice to contact you easily
- Sign in using either your NHS login details or sign up for an Engage Consult account
- Arrive for your doctor's appointment with the Engage Consult App

Could be a lot better - Bugs
Full of Bugs/log in issues, needs looked at as has potential but current fail i have spotted is it telling you you have an incorrect password, which is wrong as if you click back and go to messages it has logged you in, so it’s not the wrong password.
Should be a quick way to submit a GP callback request instead of going through multiple non relevant questions.
Just seems overly clunky and needs work to make it simpler as older people or those not familiar with technology will struggle.
Horrendous
Have been trying to use the system but it keeps putting me back to the download app when I already have the app installed and am trying to go in through it!
Oh dear
This could be a brilliant app if it weren’t for the fact that my messages never load when I have a response from my GP practice. Please resolve asap!
