Does what it says on the tin!
Had been using Private LLM, with poor results by and large, on an iPad Pro (8Gb RAM) and MacBook Pro (18Gb RAM), both fairly new. So I took a punt on Enclave. I’m running just the Llama models available from direct download, flawlessly. The only issue has been that voice chat isn’t working on my MacBook, but that is possibly a problem with MacOS and not the app, since dictation isn’t working. This is a fantastic app, faultless execution, great interface, clearly crafted out of love. Very professional.

Even More Perfect with Updates!
I’ve been using this app since its first release, and despite being free, it delivers outstanding performance. In my opinion, it’s the best way to run local AI on your phone. With the latest updates, it has become even more refined, now seamlessly supporting a variety of modern models, from DeepSeek R1 to Gemma and Qwen.
I extend my deepest gratitude to the developer for offering such an amazing program for free. This is a must-have on your phone!

Being able to chat with an LLM and have it chat back to you, all locally on my phone, is a mind-blowing and science-fiction-like experience. Other apps that try this have pesky token caps, but I haven't encountered this with Enclave. Whatever computer wizardry the developer's doing to make this work, it's incredible. More people should know about and use this app.
