EMMO - Life record 4+

i never write reviews, but ive been using emmo for over a year now so i might as well!
when i used to keep diaries, either written or online, they were inconsistent entries and soon abandoned. on the contrary, with emmo i have not missed one entry in a whole 16months, and journalling at the end of the day has helped me manage my thoughts as well as allowing me an outlet from the day. entries are customisable & have good aesthetic value, with stickers you can add onto them to make it cuter, and you can even upload pictures from your day to help you remember what you got up to. reading past entries is also easy and useful as you can pick up on patterns in your thinking/your mood on certain days, not to mention that emmo offers a mood statistic for the end of each month to give you an average of your temperament at that time according to a rating /10. you can draw your own mood faces and name them however you’d like, you can interact with friends and upload your mood drawings, and i particularly like the variety of how many different fonts, layouts, and colour schemes there are - plus, if you’re afraid of losing the diary, you can upload it to another medium so that you don’t lose your journal! i have never had any issues with this app; it’s so cute and a definite part of my nightly routine. a 5 stars well deserved !

Honestly, I just wanted a Mood Diary for the aesthetic and this really achieved that! I genuinely enjoy writing in it and love the fact you can add stickers and colour as well drawing your own separate emotions and having the ability to keep those drawings private or share them with other people. This app is quick and easy to grasp and definitely not time consuming, it has the feel of a real diary especially with the passcode (which makes it feel extra secure). Although I haven’t purchased any extras I do like the fact that you don’t need to pay monthly for them and you don’t have to use your email. A great way to do journalling. Love it 10/10 would recommend!

better than many competitors too, it has emojis (which you can draw yourself) and you don’t need to pay monthly for all the features, only once! I didnt even use the app for more than a day before upgrading, not because I felt I had to just because it was so good.
there are some other small in app purchases for extra mood icons but there are only a few and they are very cheap, however I find it more fun to draw my own and use other people’s ones anyway ! also the ability to add photos is so cute as well. overall it’s lovely and really aesthetically pleasing too, it’s also perfect for artists or anyone who wants a great mood diary.
