The best app for Christmas!!!
My children absolutely love this app. The joy and excitement it brings to their little faces is priceless. I have also loved the videos ElfCam have posted this year of tips and tricks as it’s given me so many different ideas. Deffo a 5 star review here!!!
I would say thought, that if your app doesn’t work or scan, then make sure you’ve got the updated version of the app and make sure you’re scanning with plenty of light! No one likes working in the dark 😑 especially little Elfie 🥰
Don’t waste your money on this
Although the instructional video made it seem like this could be really good, in reality it was not worth the money. First of all, they need you to pay a subscription in order to save your video. Once paid, this ONLY gives you access to a limited number of elf “actions” that you can use to make the video. You need to pay for EACH of the other “locked” elf actions if you wanted them. You can customise the “elf” but again this is quite a limited set of of options to choose from (and my 6 year old commented that it is not our elf in the videos we made with this app!!). Making the videos itself was also flawed, it would not let you choose the elf “moves” easily. When you start recording it defaults to the elf move that you chose the very first time, the work around is you need to quickly change it once you have started recording….which I only stumbled upon by chance. Overall, very disappointed
Parenting win!
This is a brilliant app for children who believe, really interactive as my daughter loved designing and picking her elf and has loved watching ‘Tinsel the elf’ go around the house each day.
It’s been great for us as she really thinks Tinsel is watching her all the time, so has been on her best behaviour ever since.
It’s a very quick and easy app to navigate and do each evening as well, so great for parents on busy schedules and too tired for complex elf evening activity setups.
