The eBike Flow app makes the riding experience on your eBike with the smart system from Bosch safer, more personalised and more comfortable. Give your eBike additional protection against theft, plan routes and use smart navigation, personalise your riding modes, customise the display and track your activities. You can also benefit from automatic updates. Make your eBike even smarter with the eBike Flow app.

The eBike Flow app gives you a clear overview of all the information about your eBike, such as the distance travelled, current battery status or the next service appointment. This way, you always have an overview and can enjoy your next ride.
Theft protection with eBike Lock and eBike Alarm
eBike Lock and eBike Alarm are the ideal complement to the mechanical lock: eBike Lock is your free additional theft protection. Lock and unlock your eBike automatically using your phone or display as a digital key. Protect your eBike even better with the eBike Alarm premium service: with GPS tracking, notifications and alarm signals on the eBike.
Always up to date with updates over-the-air
Updates ensure that your eBike is always up to date and gets even better. You can simply download new eBike functions and transfer them to your eBike via Bluetooth.
Route planning
With the eBike Flow app, you can plan your next Tour to perfection: customise the route with map details and a route profile to suit your needs – or import existing routes from komoot or via GPX.
Navigation with phone or display
Navigate with your display or use your phone on the handlebar. No matter what you’re riding with, you have all the important riding data at a glance and can conveniently control and stop the navigation via your control unit.
Activity tracking
The eBike Flow app records your riding data as soon as you set off. In the statistics, you will find valuable insights into your tour and fitness data – to analyse and share, synchronised with Strava or Apple Health.
Riding modes perfectly customised to you.
With the eBike Flow app, you can customise the riding modes to suit you perfectly. Adapt the support, dynamics, maximum torque and maximum speed to your requirements.
Display configuration
Customise the screen layout of your Kiox 300, Kiox 500 or Purion 200 to suit your preferences. With over 30 customisation options, you decide for yourself what you see on your display while riding.

What’s New
Version 1.25.1
eShift with Rohloff E-14
For the Rohloff E-14 eShift solution, you can now use the eBike Flow app to set the gear to automatically downshift when starting off – even when stationary at traffic lights, for example. You can find this function in the eBike Flow app settings under My eBike > eShift. To use automatic downshifting with Rohloff E-14, you also need to update the firmware from our partner Rohloff. This firmware update will be available in the next few weeks.
"Live Sync" from komoot with the eBike Flow app – ready to go with just one click "
Together with our partner komoot, we have worked on making it even easier for you to start your route planned with komoot using the eBike Flow app. That's why we have integrated "Live Sync" from komoot into our eBike Flow app.
This is how it works: Once you have planned a route with komoot, simply click on the "Navigate with Bosch eBike Flow" button. You will then receive a push notification from the eBike Flow app, which you can use to start your route.
"Live Sync" is optimised for group rides. The organiser shares the route via komoot – and all participants receive a push notification from the eBike Flow app to start the route.
You also have the option of adapting your route on the go: open the route in komoot, add stopovers or re-plan it – and the new route is available in the eBike Flow app.
One more thing: in future you will find inspiration for your routes. In the planning view and under "My routes" you will see a banner with interesting routes in your neighbourhood.
This feature will be available from the beginning of February.
Your route at a glance in the ride screen
Get an overview of your route in the ride screen with just one click. With one button you can easily switch between two views: your current, centred position with the usual navigation and – something new – an overview of your route, which automatically zooms out with just one click.
eBike Flow app with Apple Watch Series 3 or older
In order to provide you with a unique experience in terms of functionality and performance, the eBike Flow app will only support Apple Watch models from Series 4 or later in future. Unfortunately, owners of an Apple Watch Series 3 or older will not be able to receive any further updates for the eBike Flow app for this device.

sweet app can’t lie
so, it’s a great app, you can up the assistance on different modes on your phone, there’s a immobiliser so if the bike isn’t connected to your phone no power will go through the bike unless you unlock the bike from your phone, this has its own problems. I was at the local trails, whilst having a rest at the bottom of a trail I turned the bike off, not knowing my phone was dead and my immobiliser was on, so I had to walk all the way home which thankfully wasn’t too far, this would have taken me 10 minutes instead took an hour as the woods to get home were quite technical and steep, so had to push alot. But of course that’s how the immobiliser works and I’m at fault for not charging my phone. All round great app.

Great App but lacks import feature
I’ve been using this for 3 weeks and it’s very good however for it to be a fitness app as it is described, it needs to log heart rate data. The ability to pair with a heart rate sensor is there (I use a Polar H10) and I can see current, max and average HR during a ride but at the end this data is lost and not transferred to Strava. Everything else is logged power, cadence, distance, speed, but without HR data it’s a bit meaningless in terms of measuring fitness performance. I also would like to see the ability to connect a second phone and to be able to connect with a radar rear light such as Brydon Gardia and Garmin Varia and show warnings of approaching traffic. I use the Gardia and have to leave their App running in the foreground so I can get visual and acoustic warning of approaching cars behind.

Great part from 2 things
The app works perfectly, clear interface with easy to understand instructions, very easy to update and make adjustments to the bike’s drivetrain.
Two complaints. One, slightly annoying, you can only plan a route from your current location, you can’t plan a journey starting from anywhere else.
The other is that if you leave the screen even momentarily, the map will snap back to your current location. This is an unnecessary feature, as there is a specific button to snap to location. It’s incredibly frustrating to keep having to scroll back to where I was
