This app is bad even when it works, but most times it doesn’t connect. Maybe 3 times in the last 12 months that I’ve had the camera. The few occasions that it’s worked, both my phone and the camera batteries got extremely hot and drained the batteries rapidly on both.

Takes around half an hour or more to download each clip to my phone. Downloading to your phone doesn’t make the videos viewable offline. You need to connect to the camera to view the clips on your phone and on the SD card. Then you’ll find that the clips downloaded to your phone do not save to photos from the phone: it says unrecognized format.

While downloaded to your phone, you will get messages that your storage is full, and then you won’t have enough capacity to back up on the cloud.

After several battery changes, I managed to download 3 clips to the phone area of the app, then upload to a google folder. Then downloaded from the google folder. Took around 4-5hours. It made 2 of the video clips play in slow-mo, which isn’t how they played on my phone.

I will try not to ever forget my SD card reader ever again! You can change all settings on the camera, so don’t have to use this awful app ever again!

...of users for whom the app won’t work. My iPhone connects to the camera wifi. But when I try and open the app I get the same error message as the other users.

Maybe they are stealing our data- for I cannot for the life of me believe that the developer (and the camera companies) read these reviews and think “oh.... I am so proud of my work, I need do nothing else”

Sort it out or delete it from the App Store.

This app works flawlessly. I’ve had no issues whatsoever with it. I love that you can control every single camera setting from the app in real-time. Not sure if they’ve fixed the issue everyone else is having or if others aren’t using it properly but I’ve had no connection troubles at all 🤷🏻‍♂️
