Excellent - just upgraded
I was a little reluctant to download a free camera app, but I’m so pleased with it I’ve just upgraded to the paid version. This is as much to recognise and reward the benefits it’s brought me as to get extra features, because the app is flawless.
I open the app on the phone, then open the downloaded pc programme and have access to several cameras at the same time. I use these for seamless transitions in Zoom and Teams presentations for work.
Sure, I get the occasional drop-out, but this could be a pc or wireless issue, and it’s easy enough to re-connect. Overall, I’m really happy with DroidCam and I recommend it...
Works as promised, and works very well.
I’ve tried loads of other apps before coming back to Droidcam. All the other apps lack convenience, speed, and ease of use. This app is basically plug and play. It works very well, and is very reliable. Would recommend getting the pro version.
The customer support is also top notch!
Loses connection
I purchased DroidCam about 6 months ago to use my iPhone to live stream on social media. Linked up via WiFi using alongside OBS stream. DroidCam is easy to set up but unfortunately the App randomly stops working. I’m unable to find a work around the problem. It’s not the OBS that’s causing the issue as that continues to stream but without the camera. We have to switch the iPhone off and on then re start the App. I’ve attempted to contact DroidCam developer for help but no luck. I’ve used DroidCam with my iPad and that has the same problem ☹️
