As a learner driver, I can’t recommend the RouteBuddy app enough! It’s been an absolute game-changer in preparing for my driving test. The detailed routes and instructions have given me the confidence to navigate any situation on the road. Plus, the real-time updates ensure I’m always practising on routes similar to those in the actual test. Thanks to this app, I feel more prepared and ready to ace my driving test. If you’re a learner driver like me and you’re serious about passing your driving test, this app is a must-have!

Difficult app

I do not, by any means, recommend this app. There were many things that I came across whilst using this app which confused me and made driving more difficult than it had to be (as a learner driver). Firstly, the app tried taking me down roads where it was a no right turn/left turn - very misleading. Secondly, the app tried taking me down roads which weren’t even there, they would show up on the app as a right turn (for example) but there was no road to turn right on! - again, very misleading. Thirdly, the app doesn’t tell you which exit to take on roundabouts until you’re literally on the roundabout but by then, it’s too late. Furthermore, the fact that it displays the entire route on the screen makes it very confusing to know which road you’re meant to go down as there’s two blue lines on the map. The app doesn’t let you know when you need to turn down a road, so you’re constantly having to look down at your phone to see, which is very dangerous, especially as a learner driver! Overall, I do not recommend this app and do not waste your money - it’s not worth the £8 they’re charging!

Essential for Passing Driving Tests
