Driving Test Cancellations NOW 4+

Wonderful app. Once I got my head around how to use it it was amazing. It is so versatile and you are in complete control as long as you set up your preferences properly. I messed up the first time and cancelled too many times in the app which meant I had to start again (beware of this- there is a limit) but this was quickly resolved with a phone call to the dvsa who refunded my fee and re booked somewhere for me so I could go back to the app. **This was not the apps fault** I was able to get a test months earlier than originally booked and I was even able to re arrange the time of the test via the app. If you have your time and date preferences properly set up, then the auto book setting takes the strain away and it’s all done for you. The app also sends you notifications of other dates that may be convenient which you can attempt to book, but they disappear quickly of course. Once booked you are sent an email and a reference no. There is no need to check with the dvsa or the test centre. Trust the app. It’s worth the money.

I downloaded this app due to driving test back log caused by covid.

I had to book a test at a site nowhere near me in order to obtain cancellations for my 3 chosen sites. I had a test booked for 11th July and within 2 days it had auto booked 6th July at my chosen site and I couldn’t be happier that the app has done this and confirmation has been sent to me for the new date.

You can continue to look for earlier dates and cancellations however, and this where I feel this apps biggest downfall is. When the app has auto booked a new test date, the auto book feature is then automatically turned off and so any future cancellations they may come up will never be booked into unless you manually catch them at the right time. This happened to me when it had rebooked for 6th July the next day I noticed another cancellation came up 5th April however, because the auto book feature had turned itself off I was not able to book this date and I couldn’t capture manually in time. They state it is save battery etc. but I think I have paid for this app I think the auto book should stay on for as long as I want it to stay on for in order to offer alternative earlier dates. All in all though I would recommend this app

After a week of having the app, it’s booked me a driving test a month earlier. I must express the usefulness of autobook as I would not have gotten this earlier test without it as it booked the test as I was asleep! Woke up very happy haha. I’ve reset the app and it’s now searching for possibly an even earlier test date, I really recommend this app and the autobook DOES work you just have to be patient (about 10 driving test slots became available yesterday and I didn’t get a single one, as long as you can remember there’s high demand and be patient, this app is nothing but greatness) thanks so much! x

Update: it’s now been multiple more weeks and I have not got another earlier test date, even with many new test dates being made available on June 14th. Must admit this was a little disappointing but just trying to hold onto hope. While I was happy for the month earlier test date, I was expecting much earlier as it is still 5 months away. I will continue to be patient but the wait is a little disheartening. I will still try to have faith in the app though and expect an earlier date hopefully soon. However, must add that customer service is amazing and has always been prompt in responding to my queries.
