Do! - Simple To Do List 12+

I rarely write reviews, but felt this was worth it. I’ve a real habit of procrastinating because I feel overwhelmed with everything that needs doing, or I forget to prioritize something and it gets forgotten about. I thought writing out daily lists might help, but they were a faff. This app makes list making and prioritizing so much easier. Whenever a job that needs doing comes up I put it on here, chose the date I’m going to do it, and don’t have to worry about forgetting about it. Then each day I look at “today”’s tasks, and score things out as I go. If plans change, as they always do, I edit the date and know it’s still going to get done when I have the time. Likewise if I get some spare time I can look at the “All” tasks list and pick something up that I’ve got time for. It’s a quick, easy, flexible app that just works. It’s helped me with my organization, I’m actually getting things done, and as a result I feel less stressed and much more on top of things. ⭐️

This is the app to choose if you’re after something really simple yet not boring to look at. I tried about 8 apps before settling on this one. 4.5 stars! When apps are too minimalist they bore my brain. But when they start getting visually appealing they also make them more visually busy. Also, most developers start to add more & more ‘features’ which kill its simplistic appeal. Changing the font & coloured groups and tasks is simple but really effective to hold interest & differentiate tasks. Everything works so smoothly & everything is customisable but uncomplicated to do it. Alerts have made this app take over from most of my calendar items. And huge kudos to the creators for offering a small one-time cost & not jumping on the ridiculous subscription mindset. Ideas: If a couple of things could be added it’ll be 5 stars. 1. Tags - Groups are great, and tags would add to the categorisation. Being able to tag tasks with eg, #quick or #10mins means if I had a short period of time I could tap that tag and bring up all those tasks. #email #family #calls whatever) 2. Ability to choose more than one Group to show on the widget. And even better, tags too.

I write lists constantly and was looking for a way to do this on my phone. One of the things I like most is that this app does not invade anything else on your phone or have annoying pop ups. For me this is for general list making and a reminder calendar. It’s perfect. I’ve only had it a couple of weeks and love it’s simplicity, the option of creating groups which for me is simply a list title and that I can update items I’ve done but still see the job if I want to. It’s clean, tidy, simple and a superb listing or to- do app that doubles as an appointment calendar and more. It’s more versatile than I initially thought. Well done to the app makers.
