Simply perfect for me

I wanted a SIMPLE food log/journal to note what I ate, when and where without calculating calories and this app is perfect for that purpose. I like the ability to log and see at a glance how many glasses of water and cups coffee I've drunk as well. I like the exercise section. On each day page you can see the summary of what you've eaten and when without opening each meal section. Just keeping track of what I eat and when has been more helpful than even the best calorie trackers (which tend to provide only total cals, without time eaten for each meal at a glance). This is a great app for giving a clear one page summary of what you've consumed and when. The monthly overview is very good as well. You also have full use of the app in the free version. I decided to pay for upgrade for colour changes but mainly to say thanks for a great app. It was that handy!

Great *Simple* App!

Like others I was looking for a simple app to track my food and activities throughout the day. I like the fact that the exercise section can be customised to put things other than exercise in there. If I could change one thing about the app I would like an option to add a category that I can label with anything I like to track anything I like. Otherwise this is a very simple and straightforward app that makes tracking my food drinks exercise and anything else I like easily.

I have been looking for something like this for a while! However every time I have searched I have only come up with calorie counting apps.

I won’t use these for 2 reasons.

1. I don’t believe it’s healthy to calculate calories to the T, it can enable disorders and food obsessions. Food should be enjoyed and used for energy not calculated obsessively.

2. It’s just too time consuming to figure out each items calories, especially with variations in how people cook.

Which brings me to this, just wanting a simple app that allows me to record exactly what I eat, so that I can be more mindful. I would like to loose weight. In order to do this I need to see where I am going wrong. I don’t think most people need numbers attached to food, to figure if if they have had a good or bad day.

Thank you for this app honestly it was really missing on the market. Closest thing to pen and paper.

Given 4 stars will definitely adjust to 5 once the appearance of the app is updated. It’s a little bland, however I’m sure that is in the works!
