Description

A number of enhancements and bugs were fixed in our DigitalPhone.io smartphone application.

The Carolina Digital Phone is a SIP soft client that extends VoIP functionality beyond the landline or desktop. It brings features of the Carolina Digital Phone network directly to end users' mobile devices as a Unified Communications solution. With Carolina Digital Phone, users can maintain the same identity when making or receiving calls from any location, regardless of their device. They are also able to seamlessly send an ongoing call from one device to another and continue that call without interruption. Carolina Digital Phone grants users the ability to manage contacts, voicemail, call history, and configurations in a single location. This includes the management of answering rules, greetings, and presence which all contribute to more efficient communication. For technical support call (336) 346-6000 or send an email to help@carolinadigitalphone.com

NOTE: You must have an existing business account with a Carolina Digital Phone.

What’s New

Version 4.1.2

Corrected the following: Corrected an issue where the speakerphone could cause echo feedback for other call participants, and the switch phone button would simultaneously ring all devices—fixed a Call History bug. When a "From Name" was empty or missing, the dialed number would be displayed instead of the "From Number." Corrected an issue concerning Music on Hold and conferencing. If a mobile app user puts the call on hold at a conference, hold music will play for all participants. Fixed a bug in chat where the user could add the same contact or phone number when selecting "Add Participants" in an existing chat session. Fixed a bug concerning the "Add Call" button. If a call was put on hold, a call could not be added, and a crash could be fixed when tapping or dismissing the ‘More’ button during a call. Fixed an issue with incorrect timestamps for sms messages and fixed an issue where the app would get stuck in a connecting state. Duplicate push notifications from the server caused this.
