Easy to use
Easy to use just lost a star as to email full recording it only does it in lots of small chunks, however if you send to WhatsApp you can successfully forward the whole recording by email from there. Otherwise great

Getting to know it. Read instructions to get the best quality recordings are excellent very clear and optional gain. Which is superb I have had no problems with it. I also use it on my Apple Watch. Wow wow I can record on my watch or activate the recordings on my phone. This fact alone is wort ? £5.00 to me. I didn’t realise at the time of buying it I could do this but when I did I could not stop grinning I can send my recordings on in many ways. Next time I am in a situation where I need proof of a conversation, I have it 😀👍🏽. This alone is great, you have a lot of options and control over what you can do if you wish or just leave it on basic. Wish being able to record phone calls. Try the free one I did but then bought it AAAAA
Rewind/overwrite/edit functionality is fiddly and poorly implemented
I paid for this full version of the app having tried the free version
The main thing I was after was after was the ability to edit recordings, either on the go or later, so that I can dictate and re-compose as I go
Unfortunately this app really isn't that good for this purpose, which I feel should be core functionality in a dictaphone. It can do these things - it even supports both overwriting and inserting - but to do so is fidily, time consuming and requires a lot of concentration - not intuitive at all and after several weeks of use it hasn't got much easier. It absolutely always ruins the flow of dictation and composition for me, and is a million miles from the ease with which this can be done on an old fashioned dictaphone.
It's a shame as the app is generally well produced with lots of other good features. If you only ever need to record and rarely go back on yourself or need to make any changes then you'll be fine. But for those wanting a replacment for a tradional dictaphone in their smartphone I can't recommend you spend your money on this app in the current form. An improved GUI and it could be perfect.
