Dexter Stardust 9+

I am in the midst of Dexter’s adventure on my mobile and enjoying it. So I cannot review the full game yet, but what I can already give 5 stars to is the developer. There was a bug in the game and I could not continue, which was frustrating as I was enjoying the game. After emailing the developer, he got in touch with me promptly to ask questions to help him figure out the problem. He could not reproduce the bug straight away, but kept in touch letting me know when he had updated the game and at the end it was all sorted within a couple of day!

The game so far has been not too easy, not too difficult. The dialogues are not too long, gives clear hints of what you need without giving too much away. The first two episodes are quicker and the third one (that I am currently playing) seems deliciously longer. Well worth the money! Two thumbs up 👍👍

I can’t believe this is a one man creation it is really great and I’m very much enjoying this game. Lovely storyline and graphics, I like the layout with the chapters and really great puzzles and gameplay. It’s not massively long but still well worth every penny and more! I really hope to enjoy more from this talented developer and his wonderful team of voice actors!

Edit: this game gets better and better and actually it is a long game, One chapter especially is brilliant, I’m still playing and loving every minute and don’t want it to end, I’m so grateful to the developers that go to so much effort creating an adventure game as there are far to many IAP ( easy money, little creativity) games filling the App Store it’s so important to support point and click adventures.

It’s a bit of a slow start but don’t let that put you off - the first couple of episodes are really just training and setting up the story. But the 3rd is a properly good puzzle game. Challenging, but logical and not too hard (unlike so many point-and-clicks that make no sense!) By chapter 4 I had found myself fully committed to the storyline and was sad when I finished. Can’t wait for the sequel! And as others have said, can’t believe this is the work of one guy! Incredible work.

It's true -- in retrospect I could have created better story-to-gameplay flow with better edited and more concise cutscenes. Hindsight is 20-20.
