Harness the powers of offbeat characters to unleash board-clearing attacks in this funny and fast-paced matching game.

self aware, this game is crap and it knows it.

Upgrading characters takes a considerable amount of time and gives a character a +1% chance to gain a mediocre buff at the start of a game, along with the accurate text of “This does almost nothing!”.

Along with other mainstays of freemium games being present, like an abundance of useless currencies or incessant ads.

Kind of funny now that I think about, though the fact that the game is also loaded with micro-transactions leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Leaving me questioning if this is just a joke or if Devolver is trying to capitalise on gullible people to make a quick buck.

I love Devolver so I really hope it’s not the latter.

If you like watching ads this is the game for you

First of all, I will say that I understand that the point of freemium games is to entice people to pay for something because they are a business and that’s kind of the point, and to its credit the game is quite generous with how quickly hearts regenerate.

However there are a fair few levels as your progress which do seem to be structured to give you a ridiculous goal, where either spending a lot of in game currency or watching 30 hours of adverts to extend your time is totally unavoidable and it just isn’t fun.
