Disappointing?
I really love this game dev's other titles, but this seems to have an unfair difficulty, perhaps this is to encourage players to buy power ups as in-app purchases. Whatever the reason it is not as much fun as it could be and makes me wary of buying any more of their titles as it stands. If they tweak and improve it, I will re-rate it accordingly. It has such great promise.
A good time waster
While this is your typical match-3 style game it separates itself with its rpg style levelling while providing a loose sort of strategy to combat.
Those who played puzzle quest will Definately see a similarity to character progression but provided in an easier and watered down package.
I could only really fault the game on how difficult and random the game is with an early combo killing me off in one swoop.
Otherwise this is a good game and should be played in bursts. Should you be able to stop yourself from playing.
A great little game
I was pleasantly surprised by this. Looks very basic but it definitely has you coming back for more. I agree with others that the difficulty is high to encourage purchase of power ups and the like but apart from that it is worth a try.
