Description

Days Since can help you break any bad habit.

Create a counter for each habit that you are trying to get rid of. If you are trying to quit smoking, create a counter and set the last time you had a cigarette. The app will show you how long it’s been since you smoked for the last time. Tracking your progress will help you stay motivated.

Whenever you want to smoke again, open Days Since and check your progress. You don’t want to reset that counter, do you?

This is a great little app

It’s only been a few days but so far very impressed. It’s simple but sleek. I just want to know how many days I’ve continuously done something to help me focus, with the ability to reset if I miss one, but I can still clearly see a list of the reset days. The fact that it’s free is brilliant too. I like it so much if it was able to do the following two things I’d even pay a small one-off fee. 1. If I’ve got more than eight habits running at the same time on my iPad I have to scroll down. So maybe the ability to have a smaller thumbnail view that includes all of them 2. A little reminder each day to ask me to check in. But still very impressed.

Just a little update to say I still think this is an amazing app and one of the best that I’ve used for this purpose. I still repeat having the ability to view them all at once would be great and a reminder to check in.

Great for Tracking Habits, but Needs an Export Feature

I’ve been using Days Since to track my habits, and I find the app’s simplicity one of its greatest strengths. It allows me to manage multiple goals effortlessly, with a clear color-coded system that makes tracking intuitive and effective. I also really appreciate the journaling feature, which lets me document each reset with detailed notes. Sometimes, I add extensive comments, which helps me reflect and stay accountable.

However, I can’t give the app five stars because it lacks an option to export notes. For instance, if I’ve kept a year’s worth of notes under a specific counter, there’s no way to export them for review outside the app. Adding this feature would not only make the app more functional but also encourage users like me to continue using it for detailed journaling without worrying about losing access to important reflections. I highly urge the developers to consider implementing this, as it would elevate the app’s usability significantly.

Hello,

Thank you for your review!

The app does support exporting of your data to a csv file where you will be able to see all your resets' notes. Go to Settings -> Backups -> Create backup and select where to store the backup of your data. This will create a zip file that will contain one or more csv files.

Let us know if we can assist you further.

Best regards,
Nadya

So simple and so good

I gave up alcohol for over 8 years since 2013, but relapsed last year as many people did with their bad habits in lockdown, and so on, the world is in a state of stress! Anyways I wanted a very basic counter I could set a title of Zero Alcohol on, you put in the details, pick a nice colour, and this app counts your progress by the second, minute, hour, day of when you start to quit a vice. I think I’m on about 67 hours without a drink now (on day 3) I have a long way to go to reach those dizzy heights of 8 years again but this app is helping me do it - I chose a nice calming green for the counter itself, you can also change the appearance of the app icon, although that’s a little odd for me it sits as the first app on my phone. As I drive away the cravings my this little gem keeps me smiling at the progress. Cheers for making it a free app!
