Dawn of Zombies: Survival Game 12+

I really like this game but since the new update it’s been glitching for me I’ve lost valuable armour and weapons because it would freeze or crash at the warehouse apart from that I enjoy playing it but after working so hard to get good weapons and armour losing it can put you off

Update I did try customer support and got no response for ages then I was told that there’s no record of my purchase or that the game crashed I won’t be making anymore purchases now it’s a shame because this game kept me entertained through lockdown but it’s annoying that you can just lose everything even the things you pay for

I do know if you lose items that have a crossed out bag you lose them for good that’s not the issue really the issue is the game was crashing so before I could even leave a area or retrieve my things it would stick or crash like I said it’s a good game but just the last month or so I’ve been having issues with it glitching which caused me to lose valuable items

Another update 😀I’ve finally resolved the issue with the items I purchased that didn’t show up and I will say again this game is so good and so addictive one of the best games I’ve played although I still think it’s rubbish that weapons can only be repaired once on the workbench and I think equipment that we actually pay for should not have to be repaired

I think this is a great game and I’m character level 69 at the moment. I’ve given this a 4 star as you progress through the missions, it suddenly gets too hard. I’m at the abandoned warehouse and ironically enough, I’ve abandoned that mission for the foreseeable as it is just too hard for my character and weapons I have. It seems to be normal on some places you visit to suddenly quite difficult to hard the next. I don’t think there’s anything really in between difficulty levels, it’s either simple or hard. I think it was really cool for the developers to add a character development tree ie better at gathering wood, fighting with knives etc and balances it out a little bit better. I personally don’t think you need to spend money, it is something I have never done for games marketed as “free” where you are given the option of buying better weapons and equipment. For this to be a free game in itself is amazing I just don’t think it should be marketed as “Oh you can drop 5 bucks/euros etc to buy this and make your character survive longer” but I understand this is a business at the end of the day. Hopefully the developers do more updates, like I already stated the tech tree update was a great idea. At the moment as my mission progress has stalled whilst I level up and gather items, it’s all I can do at the moment. Give it a try I appreciate this isn’t going to appeal to every player.

Structure of game has promise but when you start playing the requirements for clothing, weapons, food and energy slowly destroy your will to progress. The amount of items needed vs energy and grafting required to get them dulls the wish to play the game.
I’ve stuck at it for 30 days now and tbh I’m slightly bored of constantly needing to graft and lack of progress doing so. Unlike LDOE (Last Day on Earth) or other similar apps you can’t craft basic items from items collected at locations. Needless trips to and from base or unrealistic item requirements for making basic crafting tables just turns you off proceeding. I will continue to log in each day but the enthusiastic themed events and multiple sales that are pushed in my face during each log on tells me I need to spend to enjoy this app.

Following a response to this review from the developer I reviewed my review. I stand by it 100% and feel the developer brushed me off and didn’t answer the points raised. In short I am faced with over 4-5 adverts for in game purchase every time I log on. I am then faced by 2-4 ads when swapping between modes or areas.
I cannot progress without needless grinding, unlike other games where you can start with basics. Devs should review basics and stop pushing ads in folks faces and then the rating and game participation may improve. Shame as it still has promise.

Ads just inform about current offers in the store but you can skip any payments if you want, it's possible to play without spending money.
We'd advice you to take a closer look at the Traders offers - they have decent weapons and armor that will help you to progress in the game faster.
